Ingredients

  • 3 ½cupswhite sugar or to taste
  • 6largeeggs, beaten
  • 10fresh ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 4cupsheavy cream
  • 2cupshalf-and-half cream
  • 2teaspoonsvanilla extract
  • ¾teaspoonsalt

  • Directions

    Gather all ingredients.

    Mix sugar and eggs together in a large bowl until smooth.

    Puree peaches in a blender or food processor; stir 5 cups of puree into egg mixture. Stir in cream, half-and-half, vanilla, and salt until combined.

    Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions, about 20 minutes.

    Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm or desired consistency, about 2 to 4 hours. Enjoy!
