Vinegar Pie

Ingredients

  • ½cupbutter, melted and cooled
  • 1 ½cupswhite sugar
  • 2tablespoonsself-rising flour
  • 1tablespoonvanilla extract
  • 2tablespoonscider vinegar
  • 3eggs
  • 1(9 inch)unbaked pie crust

  • Directions

    Combine melted butter, sugar, flour, vanilla, vinegar, and eggs in a large bowl or blender. Mix well. Pour filling into pie shell.

    Bake in a preheated 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) oven for 45 minutes, until filling is golden brown but the center is still slightly jiggly.



    Recipe Tip

    If you don't have self-raising flour, use 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour and 1/8 teaspoon baking powder instead.
